A therapeutic group for grieving adults
Together in Grief is an eight-week therapeutic group for adults grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Group therapy is a cost-effective and evidence-based intervention that can allow participants to openly express their emotions, share their stories, and find comfort in the presence of others who have walked a similar path.
Through various therapeutic techniques, we explore the complexities of grief, help participants navigate the waves of emotions, and provide tools and coping strategies that empower individuals to honor their experience.
In this group, we honor the unique journey of each participant, recognizing that grief is a deeply personal experience. We foster a sense of belonging and understanding, allowing individuals to find solace in the shared experiences of others, while also acknowledging and respecting their individual grief processes.
Above all, our therapeutic grief group is a place of hope, resilience, and growth. Whether you are newly bereaved or have been carrying the weight of grief for some time, we extend a warm invitation to join us for Together in Grief.
Together in Grief meets one night a week (Thursdays) for eight consecutive weeks from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Group members are pre-screened by the therapist, and it is a "closed group," meaning we will start and finish with the same members; new members are not allowed to join mid-group. It is therefore an eight-week commitment. Be assured that the group will be a warm, accepting environment where participants feel safe and comfortable.
Groups run for eight consecutive Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
