Rachel Heil

MS, PLPC

Rachel Heil is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor currently supervised by Brian Vega, LPC and a Professional School Counselor. Rachel earned a master’s degree in Professional School Counseling in 2010 from Missouri State University and bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in Education from Missouri State University in 2004.

As a school counselor, I have provided mental health services for many children, families and staff. My goal is to help clients become self-aware and to learn the necessary skills for their personal growth so they can become their best version of themselves. My focus for private practice is on helping children and their families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, academic, and social/emotional difficulties. I support the LGBTQIA+ community.

My first goal as a counselor is to create connections so we can work together to achieve your goals. Finding the best match for a therapeutic relationship is essential and I will work to help to identify the most effective strategies to encourage behavioral changes.
