Lyssa Bivens

INTERN COUNSELOR

Lyssa Bivens is a counseling intern currently working towards her MS in clinical mental health counseling at Missouri State University and is planning to graduate in July of 2025. In 2022, Lyssa graduated with a BS in psychology and a minor in justice studies from the University of Idaho.

Lyssa has experience working with individuals seeking counseling for a number of reasons such as processing past trauma, relationship difficulties, and managing symptoms of depression and anxiety. Lyssa is open to working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Lyssa’s approach to counseling is person-centered and integrative, with an emphasis on somatic and holistic care.

My Approach

I believe that the most important factor in helpful and effective counseling is a safe and genuine relationship between the counselor and the client. I utilize both somatic and cognitive approaches because I believe that you have to work with both the mind and the body for healing and growth to occur. My goal is to always provide a place of safety, non-judgment, and empathy for every individual. Growth is a journey, and I would be honored to be a part of yours!

$0.00 to $50,000 = $20 per session
$50,001 - $100,000 = $30 per session
$100,000 and over = $40 per session
