Jessie Rutledge

MS, PLPC

Jessie Rutledge is a Certified School Counselor and a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) under the supervision of Brian Vega, MS, LPC, NCC. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Drury University and a master’s degree in counseling from Evangel University.

Since 2019, Jessie has provided mental health services to children, teenagers, and adults in various workplaces and academic settings. She helps clients discover self-acceptance, self-efficacy, and self-esteem through various counseling techniques. She has a background in mental health counseling where she helped clients process their simple and complex traumas.

Jessie also has experience in cross cultural counseling. She has traveled to Kenya, Africa on four separate occasions where she used a trauma model to help adults struggling with various addictions. The same model was also used with young adults who came from a local orphanage as well as young adults residing in one of Africa’s biggest slum areas.

The focus of her private practice is to help children, teenagers, young adults, and their families. She specializes in trauma, grief, self-concept, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and academic, and social/emotional difficulties. She is a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Goal

My goal is to help individuals and their families gain personal awareness and respect for themselves and others as well as setting appropriate boundaries and goals that will lead them to a better quality of life. I will support each client with their individual needs through different counseling methods. As a counselor I will provide a safe space for individuals to come and share openly without judgement. I am dedicated and committed to helping others through the difficulties that life brings.

Individual Counseling

$75 per 50-minute session

Group Counseling

$30 per 90-minute session

Payment is accepted at the time of service.

A sliding fee scale is available to those experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire if you would like more information.
