I am a National Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Professional School Counselor receiving advanced training as a Trauma Specialist through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children. Serving over 20 years as a public educator, I have occupied various roles as a Special Education Teacher (K-12) and elementary school counselor (K-8). As a Professional School Counselor for the Springfield R-XII district, I have served as a co-coordinator of crisis response counseling services as well as trained area counselors in trauma-informed practices to serve on the Springfield R-X11 Crisis Response Team and the Southwest Missouri Regional Crisis Response team. I have also facilitated grief groups for children and trauma groups for adults at Lost & Found of the Ozarks Center for Grieving Children. I am also a certified instructor for Youth Mental Health First Aid and a Primary Care Triple P Provider providing intervention strategies for parents whose children currently have, or are at risk of developing, oppositional, disruptive or aggressive behaviors. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. My experience has been with anxiety, grief, trauma, anger management, parenting skills, social skills, self-esteem and children with special needs. —Sharon

Individual, Family, Adolescent Therapy:
$85 per 50-minute session
$80 per 45-minute session
$25 per 90-minute session
Payment is accepted at the time of service.
A sliding fee scale is available to those who are experiencing financial hardship.
For submitting for insurance coverage, client is responsible for submitting a receipt to his/her insurance company for reimbursement.
